  hapishanedeki sahnelerden birinde roberto^* duvara bir pencere çizer ve jack'le^* aralarında şuna benzer bir diyalog geçer:
  
  roberto: excuse me do you say in english "i look hat^* the window" or do you say in english "i look hout^* to the window"?
  jack: in this case bob i'm afraid you've got to say "i look at the window".
  
  tabii ki bu cümle roberto'ya hiçbir şey ifade etmemiştir. çünkü onun tek derdi grameri çözmektir.
