  albümün prodüktörlüğünü üstlenenler angus ve malcolm'un ağabeyi, the easybeats'in gitaristi george young ve yine bir the easybeats elemanı harry vanda'dır. rivayete göre bu adamlar ac/dc'ye sound konusunda çok yardım etmişlerdir, ellerinden tutmuşlardır; hard rock çizgisinde grubun sağlam bir eksende kalmasına vesile olmuşlardır.
  
  albüme ait tek tekli de çok meşhur bir blues klasiği olan baby, please don't go olarak seçilmiştir.
  
  şahsi kanaatimce ac/dc'nin ''özgün tarz'' konusunda çocuğu koyduğu albüm olmuştur. daha ilk albümde ac/dc, ''basit olsun, güzel olsun, hınzır olsun, muzurluk aksın; rock'n roll olsun, hard rock olsun.'' düsturuyla hareket etmiştir. zira bu kadar keskin ve çiğ bir üslup bu kadar erken belli etmez her zaman kendini; nitekim bon scott ölene kadar hemen hemen aynı çizgide ilerleyen bir ac/dc görmekteyizdir, ne mutlu bizleredir. (blues, rock'n roll, hard rock başarılı şekilde harmanlanmış, dinlemekten her zaman keyif aldığım bon scott vokaliyle çerez gibi gitmiştir nazarımda bu albüm; ac/dc'nin müzikal gidişatında sanırım en sevdiğim segmente denk gelebiliyor olabilir, emin değilim.^*)
