• herhangi bir sayıya cast edilecekse^* eğer data typeına göre bütün bitleri 1 olması gereken boolean değer. örneğin bir signed worde dönüştürülecekse bu -1, ya da başka deyişle &hffff olmalıdır. aksini yapan toptur, godoştur. çünkü neden? çünkü bu sayı üzerinden logical operationlar yapılmaya devam edilecekse bunlar bitwise gerçekleşeceği için doğru olur, güzel olur. peki neden toptur, neden godoştur? işte bu da henüz modern tıbbın ışık tutamadığı bir konudur, şahsi kanaatimdir.
