  bu filmle ilgili kıyıda kalmış bazı detaylar ise şöyledir; öncelikle bu filmde denise richards ve sophie marceau'nun gölgesinde kalsa da, bond'un sağlam raporu alabilmek için seviştiği mi6 doktoru molly warmflash rolündeki serena scott thomas da unutulmamalıdır. ayrıca bu filme damgasını vuran unsurlardan birisi de kanımca m'in bazı replikleridir. örneğin, bir sahnede m, "we do not negotiate with terrorists" (teröristlerle pazarlık etmeyiz) demektedir. bir diğer sahnede ise, "remember 007, shadows always remain in front or behind... never on top." (unutma 007, gölgeler daima önde ya da arkada olurlar... asla üstte olmazlar.) demektedir. ayrıca yine bu filmdeki bir diyalog sayesinde m'in oxford hukuk mezunu olduğu öğrenilmektedir. ek olarak, bu filmde dikkat çeken bir diğer replik de q'nun bond'a söylediği özlü sözdür; "i've always tried to teach you two things. first, never let them see you bleed. second, always have an escape plan." (sana hep iki şeyi öğretmeye çalıştım. ilki, asla kanadığını görmesinler. ikincisi ise, daima bir kaçış planın olsun.). bu aynı zamanda q'nun tüm serideki son sahnesidir. son olarak, filmin istanbul'daki kapanış sahnesi cidden güzeldir. buradaki linkte 15. saniyeden itibaren izlenebilir.
