• zımba gibi olduğu için baya bir zamandır bilgisayarımda son ses alarm olarak kullanıyorum. daha bir kere bu şarkıya küfür etmedim beni uyandırdığı için. o kadar ilginç bir şarkıdır kendisi. sabahın köründe "ulan ne çalmış adamlar, siz nesiniz led zeppelin?" diye yarı uyumaklı dikkat kesiliyorum her seferinde.
• pelagial ile derin sulara daha fazla dalan grup. önceki albüm ve tur içinde vocalistleri, sesi konusunda ciddi sorunlar yaşadığı için bu albüm vocal düşünülmeden kaydedilmiş. daha sonra işlerin düzelmesiyle beraber, derin ve anlamlı vocaller ile the ocean collective yapısını bize, en zengin haliyle sunmuştur. post-metal kavramını şekillendiren gruplar içinde the ocean; yapısı, yaylı kayıtları ve derinliği ile ayrı bir alana oturuyor.
