• pazar günü içimi kasvete bürüyen film. kirsten stewart'ın şaşırtıcı derecede iyi oyunculuğuyla güzel bir yapım ortaya çıkmış. film boyunca kendinizi melinda'nın yerine koyarak ilerliyorsunuz, akıyor gidiyor.

  tecavüz eden çocuğun filmin sonuna doğru gelip melinda'ya hesap sorarken dediği "ben sana tecavüz mü etmişim? çekici bile değilsin." cümlesi boğazımda yumruk gibi kaldı. etrafa bakınca çok tanıdık.

• unutulmazfilmler'de denk gelip izlediğim 2004 yapımı film. insanın içine öküz oturuyor izleyince ama izlemeye değer bir film. romandan uyarlamaymış, bilmiyordum izledikten sonra öğrendim. ayrıca kristen stewart 14 yaşındayken, şimdiki halinden çok daha iyi bir oyuncuymuş. baya baya müthiş oynamış. duyguları seyirciye aktarmayı başarmış. film sıkıcı başladı. her zamanki lise hikayelerinden sandım önceleri ama imdb'de 7.5 almış film olunca dedim bir bildikleri vardır. varmış da.

  speak ya filmin adı. öyle uygun olmuş ki filme. film boyunca insan zaten "ah be kızım konuş, anlat" diyor ama ne fayda. yine de melinda'nın iç dünyasını öyle bir yansıtmış ki film, anlıyorsunuz da konuşmamasını. tecavüz ve yine her zamanki gibi kadının kendini saklaması, içine kapanması, susması... çok güzel anlatmış film.
  
  ayrıca dave petrakis isimli karakteri sanırım benim gibi herkes çok sevmiştir. ırkçılığa karşı çıkıp hocasına atar yapmasını, melinda'nın konuşmama hakkını savunmasını pek takdir ettim.

  konusu ise kisaca soledir : melinda yazin gitmis oldugu bir partiye polisleri getirerek bir cok arkadasinin tutuklanmasina sebep olur. ve birden tanidigi her kesin kendine dusman olmasi ile melinda, etrafindaki herseyden ve herkesden kacarak, kendi kendine bir sessizlik yemini eder. fakat melinda nin konusmamasinin arkasinda aslinda utunmaya calistigi karanlik bir sir yatmaktadir.
