• beatles'ın vardır bu adda bir şarkısı, hep all my loving'in devamı olarak yazdıklarını düşündüğüm.. all my loving'de "and then while i'm away/ i'll write home ev´ry day/ and i'll send all my loving to you" der, ve işte bu mektup formatlı p.s i love you'da da tutarlar sözlerini: "as i write this letter/ send my love to you/ remember that i'll always/ be in love with you"...
  beatles'ı geçtim de, bette midler'in for the boys filminde söylediği bir p.s. i love you vardır ki, benim için esas olan odur. bu filmiyle oscar'a aday olmuştur bette belki, ama son tahlilde film başarısızdır bence, hayal kırıklığı yaşatmıştır. lakin soundtrack'i başta every road leads back to you şarkısı olmak üzere fikrime zarar verecek ölçüde güzeldir, bunu yadsıyamam.
  eski bir şarkı olmalıdır p.s. i love you, savaş yıllarından kalmış..
  savaştaki eşe yazılmış bir mektuptan dökülmektedir bu dizeler. cephe gerisinde hayat eskisi gibi devam etmektedir, sıkıcıdır, monotondur işte; tek yapılan beklemektir, bir gün bir yıl gibi geçerken:
