• white lion'u sevme nedenlerinden sadece biri. mike tramp'in vokallerindeki naif çocuksu duruşun etkileyiciliğinden fazla vito bratta'nın gitaristliğini konuşturduğu eşsiz eser. bu nadide power balladı dinledikten sonra her seferinde sözleri mırıl mırıl dilime pelesenk olur. özellikle uyanıktan sonra. hemen akabinde. böyle yoğun bir duygusallık çöker. şarkı biter aklınızdan sözler geçer. bir nebze takılıp kalma durumu. bir de bu şarkının yıllardır bana özel bir duruşu vardır ki itiraf edeyim. dilime istemediğim şarkılar yerleştiğinde onları bertaraf etme işini bu şarkı üstlenir. özellikle okul kantininde kafalara kazınan bir yığın basit pop şarkının dilime dolandığı olurdu. peşisıra bu şarkıyı anımsar bir sertliğe bürünürdüm pop şarkılardan kurtulma görevi görürdü bu eşsiz eser. bir nevi kurtarıcı. sözlüğe paylaşmakta sakınca yok.
  her dinlenildiğinde de bir saygıda kusur etmeme hali oluşur bende. yatarak dinlemem mesela. ayakta biraz saygı içererek. her daim öyle...
• epik bir başyapıt. parçanın bazı bölümlerinde sözlerdeki savaş havası hissedilmektedir. efsanevi solosunda ise aynı anda hüzün, coşku ve gurur vardır.
• white lion'un pride albümünün 5. parçası olmakla birlikte, ne yazık ki albümün kapanış parçası olan when the children cry'ın popülerliğine ulaşamamıştır. halbuki when the children cry'dan daha iyi bir parçadır. ballad gibi ballad'dır.
