• ınsani suursuzca gok mavisi lacoste almaya itebilecek bir sarki. am albumunun en seksi sarkisidir bence...
• beni bikaç hafta boyunca "when you walked around your house wearing my sky blue lacoste" diye dolaştıran ve kafamda çalıp duran şarkı. aklıma gelmesiyle birlikte eğlenmeye başlıyorum.
• bininci kez dinlenmesi, "alex turner'a blue lacoste da yakışır ha" gibi yorumlara sebebiyet verebilecek şarkı.
• sondaki ezanı, prodüksiyona da el atan josh homme okumaktadır.
• alex turner'ın "like the beginning of mean streets you could be my baby" kısmıyla 1973 yapımı mean streets filmine selam çaktığı parça. filmin başındaki be my baby adlı parçayı 60'lı yılların kız gruplarından the ronettes seslendirmektedir.
• hiç durmadan dinlediğim şarkı... arabaya biniyorum çalmaya başlıyor, ofise giriyorum o devam ediyor... inanılmaz bir temposu var, insanı bahara hazırlıyor...
• uğruna hayırlısıyla bu akşam mean streets izleyeceğim... tempo itibariyle yer yer gönlümdeki tahtını snap out of it'e kaptırsa da, son on yılda dinlediğim en güzel şarkı olduğu için hala her gün bir iki doz almadan kendime gelemiyorum...
