• marilyn manson'in 13 kasim 2000 yilinda, amerika'da ki unlu columbine lisesi katliaminin ertesi cikardigi albumu. medyadan takip ettiginiz gibi, amerikan halki bu katliamdan dolayi marilyn manson'i bir hayli suclamistir. belki bunu bir sebebi olarak album agirlikli olarak silah ve olum temalarini islemektedir.
  
  the love song sarkisi silahlarin gercek bir ask nesnesi olarak insanlarin yerini aldigini anlatmaya calisirken nerdeyse amerikalilarin silah kulturunu hedef alir gibidir:

  lamb of god sarkisi medyanin olum uzerine olan asiri tutkusunu ve yaklasim bicimini elestirir:

  album temel olarak yolunu kaybetmis bir toplumun ortasinda kitleleri pesinden surukleyecek bir adamin hikayesini anlatmaktadir aslinda. marilyn manson carmiha gerili isa'nin, simdiye kadar gosterilmis en vahsi ve siddet icerikli imaj oldugunu belirtir ve diger insanlarin gunahini ustlenip carmiha gerilmis isa olarak album kapaginda yer alir (cenesi de sansure karsi bir metafor olarak resimden silinmistir).
  
  bu albumde sound olarak bir onceki mechanical animals albumunun glam rock tarzindan biraz uzaklasildigi, antichrist superstar tarzi industrialvari bir sounda geri donuldugu hissedilir ama trent reznor'in parmagi yoktur gene produksiyon'da (ne yazik ki!)
  
  guclu bir kac sarki ve konsept icermesine ragmen diger iki albume gore biraz zayif kalan bir albumdur benim gozumde. album kapagida kendinden onceki albumlerin tarzini devam ettirir ve gene p r brown tarafindan tasarlanmistir.
