manhattan'da bir apartman dairesinde* gecen andy warhol filmi. 1968 yilinin ekim ayinda cekilmis. diger warhol filmlerinde oldugu gibi bu filmde de kurgu, olay orgusu, hikaye vs. aramiyoruz elbette. basrolde warhol'un kult oyuncusu viva ve louis waldon (zaten baska oyuncu yok) bir yatakta uzanmis sosyal konulardan konusuyorlar, sevisiyolar, tv izliyolar vs.
warhol; sadece sevisme - sikismenin yer aldigi bir film cekmek istemis aslinda. filmde yer alan vietnam savasi muhabbeti, tv izleme, yemek yeme, banyo yapma gibi olaylar spontane gelismis. filmin ismini de "fuck" olarak dusunuyormus ancak hatali kamera kullanimi nedeniyle odaya dolan gunes isiklari (film ogleden sonra cekilmis) filme mavi bir renk vermis. bu sebeple ve sansur yememek icin filmin ismi blue movie olarak degistirilmis.
film 1969 yilinda warhol'un the factory studyosunda bir donem gosterilmis. ancak 31 july 1969 tarihinde new york polisi tarafindan filme el konulmus ve filmin yapimcilari tutuklanmis.
