• lezzeti bol bir marc cohn şarkısı.. daha sonra cher hanımkızımızda şarkıya iyi bi cover yapmıştır.. ancak memphis'i telaffuzu bi gariptir..
• her dinleyişimde aklıma the x filesın en guzel sahnelerinden birini getiren^* cher'in aşmış yorumuna sahip parca.. yuzumde bir gulumsemeyle dinliyorum..^*
• ayrica bir de dave matthews band coveri vardir. bruce springsteen versiyonunun hemen hemen aynisidir. her dinleyisimde disari cikip oyle adimlarim nereye gotururse saatlerce onume, gokyuzune bakip yuruyesimi getirten sarki. piyanonun melodisi adeta icine isler insanin, beyni ele gecirir, bi daha bi daha dinlemek istersiniz, daha uzaga, daha hizli gitmek, kaybolmak..
• şarkı bruce springsteen'e değil, marc cohn'a aittir. patron bu şarkıyı hiçbir zaman kaydetmemiştir.
• şarkı marc cohn'a aittir. bruce springsteen'e ait olduğu ise yalnızca bir şehir efsanesidir. bruce springsteen'in şarkıya ait cover'ı dahi yoktur.
  
  marc cohn'un "kendisi ile aynı adı taşıyan" ^* albümünde yer alır. patron'un hiç bir albümünde yer almaz. cher yorumunu nedense pek sevememişimdir. marc cohn'un kendisine grammy kazandıran albümdeki yorumunu ailecek severiz.
  
  bunca yıl sonra sözlükte springsteen'e ait olduğunun bir kaç kez yazıldığını görünce "ulan yanlış mı hatırlıyorum" şaşkınlığını yaşatmıştır. springsteen'e ait sanılması şu bölümdeki göndermeden kaynaklanıyor olabilir:

• yağmur sonrası şehir konseptini mükemmel bir şekilde tamamlayan şarkı.bi de cherin yorumu orjinalinin yanında oldukça yapay kalmaktadır fikrindeyim.
• the post modern prometheus bölümünde fox^* ve dana^*' nın eşliğinde dans ettikleri güzel şarkı.

• the x files'ın 5. sezon 5. bölümü olan (gayet enteresan bir bölüm kesinlikle) the post-modern prometheus'un sonunda çalan süper şarkı. orijinalinin aksine bunu cher'in sesinden duyarız.
