• paul simon'un yonetmen mike nichols'u ugruna maymun ettigi sarki. mike nichols simon & garfunkel hastasidir. the graduate filmi icin uc sarki yapmasi icin paul simon'la anlasir. yonetmeni sallamayan simon film bittiginde daha henuz bir sarki yazmistir. nichols yalvar yakar olur ama turnelerde gezen simon avunmasi icin yeni yazdigi bir sarkinin ilk notalarini calar. nichols sarkiya hasta olur. simon'un "hey ahbap, sakin ol, bu sarkinin mrs robinson ile ilgisi yok, eski zamanlardan, mrs roosevelt'ten, joe dimaggio'dan filan bahsediyor" demesine vakit kalmadan nichols soyle der: "artik cok gec dostum, artik mrs robinson'dan bahsediyor!"
• mutluluk veren bir simon & garfunkel şarkısı. şarkının lead vokalini paul mu söylüyor art mı bilmiyorum ama inanılmaz tatlı bir aksanı var. ayrıca bayılıyorum bu ikili ya da üçlü armoni vokallere. resmen armoni yapmak için gelmişim dünyaya. sanki armoni yaparsam bütün tanrılar beni sevecekmiş gibi geliyor. ben armoni yapmak için yaratılmışım^*.
  
  o yüzdendir ki büyük bir the beatles hayranıyım. tabi simon & garfunkel'i, the everly brothers'ı ve the beach boys'u da severim. ama the beach boys diğerlerinden biraz ayrılıyor. onların armoni anlayışı birazcık farklı, ama onlar da güzel.
