brock's dub versiyonunda özellikle rus aksanıyla söylenen "everybody's russian" kısmı yarmaktadır. zaten normal versiyonunda da "everybody's rushin" kısmı bu şekilde duyuluyor.

"zenci filmi" diye etiketleyip geçmemek gerekir bu filmi. evet zenci filmidir ama bugün mtv'de gördüğümüz "yavşak zenci" kavramını pompalamak yerine "günlük hayat zencisinin" portresini çizer. sakınmadan zenci deyip duruyorum ama, filmde gösterilen her şeyin zenci kültürüne ait olmasından dolayı yapıyorum bunu. bu kültürün tatlı tatlı hicvedilişi, görmesini bilene son derece komik gelebilir. örneğin dümdüz fön çektirdiği saçı aman bozulmasın diye dirseğini çenesine dayayıp uyuyan kız kardeş, devasa takma tırnaklar takan sevgilinin olağanüstü şirretliği, kahvaltıda bir önceki akşamdan kalan domuz pirzolasını yiyen anne, i be doin' kalıplı cümleler, muhteşem küfür kullanımı, smokey'nin odasındaki cypress hill ve cheech and chong's up in smoke posterleri, kirli bong, onlarca boş su şişesi ve lava lambası gibi ayrıntılar görülmeye değerdir ve yaratacağınız uygun ortamda izlenmesi tavsiye edilir.
