  dindar nesil vs tinerci nesil saçmalıkları halihazırda ön planda olmasından ve ölüm pornosu'nun^* başına gelmiş olaydan dolayı uzun bir süre türkçeye çevrilmeden kalacak chuck palahniuk kitabı. aşırı dozda uyuşturucu yüzünden ölen 13 yaşındaki bir kızın (madison) ağzından yazdığı, cehennem’de geçen hikayenin arka planında da ilginç bir gerçek yatıyormuş. guardian'a verdiği röportajda şunları demiş kitap hakkında:
  
  guardian: klasik portland/seatle çizginizden çıkıp biraz uzaklara - cehennem'e - gidip 13 yaşındaki bir kızın ağzından yazmışsınız kitabınızı. kolay bir iş miydi?
  
  chuck palahniuk: berbattı. kanserden ölmek üzere olan annemin bakımıyla ilgilendiğim için tam bir ıstıraptı. ilaçlar yüzünden çocuk gibi davranıyordu, hiç tanımak istemediğim bir çocuk. ben ise tam bir ebeveyn rolü oynuyordum. kötü zamanlardı ve belki de bu yüzden madison dil döken biriydi. kendisi bir takım korkunç durumları ve acıyı gizliyor.
  
  guardian: ben madison'ı -anti kahramanınızın- içten birinden çok dirençli biri olarak düşünmüştüm.
  
  chuck palahniuk: pekala, evet olabilir. bir şekilde iki ebeveynimi yitirmenin kederini yansıtmalıydım (palahniuk’un babası, sevgilisiyle birlikte, 1999 yılında sevgilisinin eski kocası tarafından öldürüldü.) ve biliyordum ki bu, kitabımı pek eğlenceli ve komik bir kitap yapmıyordu. bu yüzden durumu ters yüz ettim ve hâlen dünyada yaşayan ailesinin yasını tutan, onları özleyebilen bu yürekli ölü çocuğu yarattım.

• şu ana kadar okuduğum kadarıyla (yarısına kadar geldim) ölüm pornosu kadar sert olmasa bile türkçe'ye çevirecek olan çevirmeni 3-5 yılla yargılatmaya yetecek malzemeyi barındırdığını düşündüğüm chuck palahniuk'ın son kitabı.
• chuck palahniuk'un, bir an önce türkiye'deki raflarda da yerini alması beklenen yeni kitabı. kitabın adının birebir çevirisi 'lanetli'... ancak çevirmeni nasıl çevirir dilimize bakalım.

  devamini heyecanla bekledigim beni çok eglendirmis ama herkesi o kadar da eglendiremeyecek arsız kitap.
