• derdian^* adında, yetenekli ancak yarı profesyonel diyebileceğim, kayıt kalitesi ve yeri geldiğinde komikleşebilen melodileriyle alay edilmeye müsait, yine de alay edilmesi şart olmayan grubun yarı hüzünlü (new era pt. 2^* adlı albümlerinin çoğu parçasında olduğu gibi bunda da golstar adlı bir kahramanın trajedisinden düşüşünden falan bahsettiklerinden) yarı gülünç şarkısı. dinliyorum utanmadan, çünkü küçüklüğümü, azimli istekli hayalperest zamanlarımı hatırlatıyor, yağlı boyayla boyamaya çalışırken fazla kaçırdığımız tinerden sarhoş olduğumuz kömürlükte, asaletten bir şeymiş de ilk defa biz keşfetmişiz gibi bulduğumuz gazlı pavır rifflere şekilsiz türkçe sözler uydurmaya çalıştığımız zamanlarımı aklıma getiriyor. sözlerine de bir iki notum var:

• amon amarth son derece gaz bir girişe sahip olan şarkısı. riffler ayrı gaz falan da şarkının solosunu ayrı bir olay hem melodiksel olarak kusursuz hem de bir yerden çıkaracağım gibi böyle çok tanıdık bir tonu var henüz çözebilmiş değilim.
• dinlemekten alamadığım şarkı senelerdir dinlerim her dinleyişimde gaza getirir.
• billy paul'un 1973 tarihli aşmış philly soul albümü ve albümün ikinci parçasının ismi. billy paul'ün en deneysel en psyche albümü. synthlerin çok ön planda olduğu temponunun inişli çıkışlı olduğu bu albümü bence herkes hayatında bir kez dinlemeli. war of the gods!
  
  şarkının türk müzik tarihi için ilginç bir önemi de var. ümit yaşar oğuzcan'ın meşhur şiiri ayten'in sonu'nu 80'lerdeki şiir kasedi akımı içinde seslendirmek isteyen ahmet selçuk ilkan'ın arka fonu olmuştur. hatta şiirin bitiminde bülent ersoy'dan ne duamsın ne de bedduam ile mash-uplanmıştır. billy paul'un bundan haberi var mıdır sanmam.
