• klasik olabilecek melodilerin kisacik sarkilara gomuldugu, sanki inadina kendilerine sakladiklari bir duran duran albumu. albumun geneline hakim olan kederli hal dikkat cekicidir. sarkilarin cogunda bu hal, bu halden kurtulmaya calismak ve bu halden sozde kurtulmak vardir. "ya bak soyle bir sarki var, huzur verici" cumlesine "bilmiyorum" cevabini almak isteyenler icin ideal, kendinize saklamaniz gereken bir album. yine de "michael"i, "midnight sun"i, "so long suicide"i duymali her insan..
• albüme adını veren medazzaland, simon le bon'un dişçi koltuğundan kıyak kafayla kalkmasına neden olan midozolam adlı ilacın ilhamıyla yazılmış. albüm önce amerika ve japonya'da piyasaya sürüldü fakat bu ülkelerde satışların çok düşük olması nedeniyle ingiltere'de hiç basılmadı.
