• nas'ın 2012 tarihli, def jam'den çıkan son albümü. ayrıca; the lost tapes 2 albümünü geciktirmelerinden dolayı da def jam'i terkedeceği söyleniyor.
  
  albüme, pete rock'tan kanye west'e, dr. dre'den dj premier'e kadar çeşitli producerlar demo yollamış. fakat nihai olarak albümün prodüksiyonunu no id (kendisi def jam'in ikinci başkanı ve aynı zamanda kanye west'in akıl hocası olur) ve son birkaç albümdür nas'la beraber çalışan salaam remi üstlenmiş.

• uzun bir süredir dinleyicilerini hayal kırıklığına uğratmış nas'ın yeniden doğduğu, neden efsane olarak anıldığını cümle aleme göstermiş albüm. 2012 yazında çıkmıştı.
  
  loco-motive ilk albümü illmatic'in ilk şarkısı olan the genesis'e gönderme. tren sesiyle albüm başlıyor, loco-motive'de de şarkı ''42nd street terminal'' diyen bir koroyla başlıyor. a queens story'de 4 verse var ve nakarat yok, sözleriyle altyapısıyla flowuyla bu şarkıda resmen şov yapılmış. bu adama boşuna efsane denmiyor. accident murderers'da rick ross ile nas çok iyi iş çıkarmışlar storytelling olayı öyle harika ki bir filmi anlatıyorlar gibi. summer on smash ve the don ise albümün bangerları. keşke summer on smash'de t.i. da olsaydı tam onluk bir şarkı.
  
  son 10 yılın en iyi hip-hop albümlerinden biri olmasına rağmen kıyıda köşede kalmıştır. allahtan albümün kritikleri mükemmeldi de oradan yırtıyor.
• şarkıyı beğendim sebebini bilmiyorum. hani future tükürür gibi konuşuyor neresini sevdim bilmiyorum.
• ilk başta bu ne aq deyip sonradan istemsizce loop'a aldığım efsane drake ve future iş birliği. ne zaman bu şarkıyı dinlesem aklıma üstteki yazar geliyor. future hakkaten tükürür gibi söylemiş kahkahalara boğulduğum doğrudur.
• beat switch olayı öldürüyor beni. future verse'ü çok güzel olmuş.
• i working on the weekend like usual, diye diye sakarya sokaklarında dolaşmamı sağlayan drake & future işbirliği
