• basil poledouris tarafından yapılmıştır, herkes'ler bilir bunu; fevkalade senfonik, son derece fantastik, alışık olunmadık safhada okült ve hipnotize kadar etkileyicidir. insanın savaşası gelir dinledikçe, göğsü kabarır, dişleri planör çekecek kadar güçlenir. böyle düşünüyorum gerçekten ara sıra.
• anvil of crom en taninmi$ parcalarindan biridir bu soundtrack'in .
• 2002 çıkışlı 20th anniversary edition'da ekstradan riders of doom (alternate take) ve anvil of crom (by erich kunzel) versiyonları bulunan soundtrack konseptindeki doruk nokta. kapağında da günümüz california valisi, henüz pörsümemiş kaslarıyla...

• 20 yıldır bıkmadan usanmadan kendini dinlettiren şarkılar barındıran soundtrack. o kadar frp oyun müzikleri, tarihi film muzikleri geldi geçti şu kulaktan, hiç birisi conan'ın muzikleri gibi yer etmedi şu kulakta.
  
  akılda kalıcılığı o kadar barizdir ki; daha alkışa ritim tutmayı beceremeyen ben anvil of crom 'da ritim kaçırmam.

• eskiden girişindeki konuşmayı ezbere bilirdim, şimdi yaşlandık tabi. "between the times oceans drank atlantis and rise of sons of aerias there was an age undreamed of..." gibi gidiyordu.

• uc cd iceren, bir 'complete score" surumu vardir ki tadindan yenmez. orijinal surumden daha iyi olamaz diyordum ama hem ses kalitesi hem de iceriginde filmde kullanilip, orijinal albumde olmayan bir suru parca bulundurmasi bakimindan asmis gitmis. ornek conan'in olumune dovusturuldugu pit fights, the snake/ınfidels.
