• bir derginin normal ebattan büyük hazırlanmış ve katlanarak dergi boyutuna getirilmiş orta sayfasına verilen addır. böylelikle dergide dergi ebadından daha büyük boy resimlere de yer verilebilir. özellikle ciltsiz, sayfaların katlanmasıyla^*** hazırlanan dergilerde uygulandığında çok büyük bir resim hiç kesintiye uğramaz.
  
  bu pratik daha eskiden varolsa da kelimenin yaygınlaştırılması hugh hefner'ın eseridir. national geographic gibi dergilerde de kullanılıyor olsa da centerfold demek yüksek ihtimalle 18+ içerik demektir.
