• sinirli başlayan, pek sakin biten, eğlenceli bir arctic monkeys şarkısı bu. whatever people say i am, that's what i'm not albümünde arayan buluyor.
• hem albüm hem de konserler için süper bir kapanış parçası. neredeyse her konseri bunla kapatır kutup maymunları.
• chav kültürüyle kendince kafasını bulan süpper ötesi şarkı.
• arctic monkeys'in en kaliteli olduğu zamana ait dinlenilip şaşılası, 20'lerinin henüz başındaki bu adamların yaptıklarına hayran olunası albümünden çok iyi bir parça.

• bu şarkının sonuna doğru öyle bir müzik geliyor ki, önce sakinleşiyoruz, fırtına öncesi sessizliğine bürünüyoruz, daha sonra sinirleniyor, bağırıyor, çağırıyor, kavga ediyoruz, ardından da rahatlıyoruz.
• 2 gündür üst üste trainspotting ve t2 trainspotting izleyince kafamda dönüp duran arctic monkeys şarkısı. herkes farklı bir şey bulsa da ben bu şarkıda ''atsan atılmaz satsan satılmaz şerefsiz arkadaş grubu'' görüyorum. aslında lock, stock and two smoking barrels'ı izledikten sonra bu hissiyata kapılmıştım ama bu şarkı tam trainspotting.
  
  kanımca arctic monkeys'in en iyi şarkısıdır.
• gunumuz arkadasliklarini harika anlatan sarki.

• bu şarkının sonunda müthiş bir gitar solosu vardır ki sanki insanın içinden bir şey kopuyormuş gibi tuhaf bir his sarar. belki de bu sebeple alex de konserlerini bu şarkıyla bitirmeyi uygun görmüş.
• sanırım bu gençlerin yaptığı şarkılar içerisinde en iyi intro bu şarkıdadır.
