• hatebreed konserlerinin vazgeçilmeyen şarkılarından bir tanesi. yıllarca grubun en bilinen ve en çok dinlenen şarkısı olmayı başardı. son bir iki senedir ise (bkz: looking down the barrel of today) şarkısı spotify'da 30 milyon dinlenmeye ulaşarak destroy everything'i bile ikiye katlamaya yaklaşmaktadır.
  
  konser sırasında grubun vokalisti ve frontman'i jamey jasta bu parçayı mutlaka dinleyici ile ortak söylemektedir. nakarata geldiğinde jasta "destroy" dedikten sonra konser alanı "everythiiiiiing" diye inlemektedir.
  
  ayrıca bridge kısmında gitarların susup çok kısa da olsa bassın hakimiyetini duymamızdan ötürü, grubun kurucu üyelerinden (bkz: chris beattie) nin ne kadar hoş bass melodileri çalmakta olduğunu da gözler önüne sermektedir.
