• grupların isimleriyle var oldukları bir dönemde ...bernard sumner, peter hook ve ian curtis'in grubu...joy division'ın önceki ismi: warsaw.
  
  buzzcocks'un alt grubu olarak çıktıkları ilk konserlerinden sonra karar vermişler bu isme...konserin öncesinde de grubun adını stiff kittens olarak bildirmişler oysa ki [pete shelley'in önerisiyle]
