  filmde bir adam var. hem hırsız hem kibirli hem de karısına kötü davranıyor. aile hayatı bitmek üzere. karısı emlak danışmanı ve o da güçsüz düşmüş. sonra yaşlı bir kadınla emlak işi dolayısıyla tanışıyor. kadın ona dua etmesini tembihliyor. ve komedi buradan sonra başlıyor. kadın dualara hemen cevap alıyor. ne dilese hemen oluyor. sanıyorum o an tanrı tatilde ve yerine jim carey bakıyor. kadın, kocam bana dönsün diyor, adam aldatmak üzereyken gıda zehirlenmesi yaşıyor, doğru yolu bulsun diyor, adam melek oluyor vs. ve ailenin bütün problemleri çözülüyor. her şey bi dolaba girip dua etmeye bakarmış meğer.
