• iron maiden'in x factor isimli albümünün ilk parçası... girişinde hoş bir gregorian korosu hedesi vardır...
• "the sign of the cross" ile karıştırılan ama asılı "sign of the cross" olan iron maiden nın the x factor albümünün açılış parçasıdır. 11:18 bu parça umberto eco nun "the name of the rose" adlı romanından esinlenilip yazıldığı konusunda ciddi rivayetler vardır.

• içerdigi melodiler bir albümün tamamini doldurabilecek kadar çok sayida olmasina ragmen steve harris gibi bir yaraticinin elinden çiktigi için tek bir sarkida yer almis, piyasadaki gruplarin %90'inin rüyasinda bile göremeyecegi 11 dakikalik iron maiden basyapiti.
• avantasianin bir şarkisi olur.. bishop von bickenin vokal yaptiği bölümde inanilmaz bir nihat doğan tadi yakalarim.. ismini bilmiyodum bak bu nihat rip off unun.. skybreake teşekkürler..
• intro'suyla tuyleri diken diken eden, sololarıyla halay cektiren, 11 dakika 18 saniye boyunca insanın dunyayla ilişkisini kesen, kelimerle anlatılamayacak başyapıt.
• x factor albümü pek sevilmez. ama bu parçanın yeri kesinlikle iron maiden için üst sıralardır.
