• yüzyıllarca yunan sanat ve edebiyatında kehanetle, gizemle ve kutsal yerlerle ilişkilendirilmiş oldukça güçlü bir mitolojik yaratık. kartalın kanatlarından, aslanın gövdesinden ve güzel bir kadının başından oluşur. eski imparatorluk dönemlerinde imparator augustus'un gücüne ulaşmasıyla modern aydınlanmanın umudunu ve vaadini ifade eden bir sembol haline gelmiştir.
• harry thumann'ın 1982 tarihli andromeda albümünden bir şarkı. aradan 15 yıl geçtikten sonra royksopp isimli güzide grup bu parçayı back to mine serisinde kullanmıştır. pek de iyi yapmışlardır.
