• tarihi 1908 yilina kadar dayanan bir fuar ve hava gosterisi.
  
  "the paris air show leans back to year 1908. it was an exhibition organized by gustav rives as an annex to the motor-show of himself. the next year it becomes a success with all technology about balloons and aircraft presented.
  
  in a few years the first world war causes a silence, as in everything. then the show reoccurs in 1919.
  
  1924: the show becomes a biennial event. it takes place every two years and has become an international show.
  
  there has been a silence until 1946. then it is replaced to the orly airport, which allows the flying demonstrations.
  
  in 1951, the show moves to salon du bourget to become an airshow of the world. as of 1960 many international prototypes are showcased at paris air show for the first time to customers.
  
  in 1969, two prototypes of concorde and boeing b747 are presented to the public. [don't forget, man stepped on moon the same year!]
  
  four years later, in 1973, airbus occurs on the stage for the first time. it could only be a dream to become a success in such a short period of time.
  in 1979, the ariane rocket makes its debut, just like the mirages 2000 and 4000.
  1983: the american shuttlecraft enterprise (perched atop a boeing b747) appears over paris and delights the public.
  
  in 1987, airbus is in the spotlight with a320. rafale was another focus point of the show. in the next show (1989), ussr makes a big appearance! su25, su27, mig29 and antonov 225 (the largest aircraft in the world also carrying the buran space shuttle) are exhibited both on ground and on flight.
  
  airbus is in the spotlight once again in 1993. an airbus a340 takes off from the show to beat the world distance record. (after a long journey it landed in new zealand.)
  
  1995: boeing b777 and x31 are displayed for the first time.
  1997: record number of exhibitors is announced as 1860. (1856 in 2003)
  1999: the show was attended by a record number of 1895 companies."

• 2003 versiyonunda turkiyeden petlasin da yer tuttugu, gelenlere seker ikram ettigi fuar.
• sicak havadan klimalarindan bir tanesi alevler icinde yanan, ortaligi duman kaplayan havacilik etkinligi. (ucak mi dustu diye az gaza gelen olmadi)

• 2011 yılındaki versiyonu şahsım açısından katılmayı çok istememe rağmen son anda uçak biletini almaktan vazgeçmemle sonuçlansa da katılımcı sayısı(günlük 200binlerden bahsediliyor) ve airbus ın aldığı 700(yazıyla yedi yüz) ün üstündeki sipariş sayısıyla rekorlara koşmuştur...iki sene sonraya umuyoruz ki...

  çok büyük, çok kalabalık, çok firma katılıyor, çok hava aracı durağan görücüye çıkıyor, çok hava aracı uçuş gösterisi yapıyor.
  
  bu yıl ilk defa evtol temalı bir kısım vardı. dünyada elektrikli uçak yarışına katılmış firmaları ve araçlarını bir arada görme olanağı sunulmuştu.
