• clint eastwood'un bir clint eastwood ikonu, hatta bir clint eastwood abidesi yaratma gayretiyle sürekli karizmatik replikler sarfedip tabloluk pozlar takındığı, sahile kurulan kasaba kadar çakma filmi. gelgelelim 'yalnız kovboy'un il mio nome e nessuno, the man with no name gibi gizemli belirsizlikler yaratmaktan başka bir amaca hizmet eden isimsizliği bile kurtarmıyor. zaten bunun bize gelişi o kadar.
• western türünün ve clint eastwood'un en acayip filmlerinden biri. noir-western tadında, oldukça karanlık, standart western gibi gözüken ama tamamen başka bir yöne sapan oldukça enteresan bir senaryosu var. bir unforgiven olmasa da, anti-western denebilecek güzel bir film.

  filmde açıklanmayan clint'in karakterinin kim olduğuna clint eastwood da filmi çekerken karar verememiş esasında. ilk başta ilk öldürülen şerifin kardeşi olarak düşünülmüş ancak sonrasında ölen şerifin ölümden geri geldiği fikrine gönderme yapılmasına karar vermişler falan filan.

• sonunda ne oldugunu clint eastwood un eski marshall la nasil bir alakasi oldugunu bir turlu anlayamadigim film, sayet clint eski serif ise ve intikam almak icin geri donduyse nicin halk onu taniyamadi, ve buna ek olarak neden kreditlerde eski serifi oynayan adam baska biri olarak cikti?
