• janis joplin'in pearl albümünden jerry ragovoy ve sam bell tarafından yazılmış yedekte bekletilen eski sevgili temalı parçası, ki yedekte aportta av köpeği gibi bekleyen janis'dir. bütün şarkı boyunca o denli dibe vurmuş, o denli kabullenmiş bir kadın tasviri yapar ki insan bu kadar hesapsızca sever, kendini bu kadar hırpalarsa elbette 27'inde ölür^* dedirtir. öteki kadın^* olmayı böylesine idealize eden bir şarkı daha yoktur, sinir bozar, "kendine gel" diye tokatlamak gelir içimden cenis'i, lakin hem şarkı beste olarak güzeldir hem de agzina saglik dedirten bir kısmı vardır ki, bir şekilde sevmeden edemeyiz bu parçayı.

  kısmı ile o kadar ağlayıp sızlanmadan, o kadar "ben beklerim" ağızlarından sonra janis -sonunda- kendine gelir de elle tutulur güzel beyanatlarda bulunur, şarkıyı kurtarır, bizi de kurtarır. o "one woman" ile kendisini kastetmiyor olma ihtimali epey yüksek de olsa, inisiyatifi ne bok yediği belli olmayan kararsız kazım rollerinin başarılı oyuncusu kimbilir hangi sevgilisine bırakıyor ise de gene de güzel bağlamış olduğunu kabul etmek gerekmiyor mu?
